FELTEN Wire & Cable Solutions and BizLink have been working together successfully for many years. We are proud to announce that this cooperation has now been formally confirmed for defence cable solutions. This confirmation reflects the trust built over time and our shared commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality cable solutions for mission-critical defense applications.
The NavalLine® cables have been part of FELTEN’s portfolio for some time and are specifically designed for demanding applications in military land vehicles as well as on board naval vessels, both above and below water. These cables comply with essential certifications, including the German military standard VG 95218, which is crucial for defense and naval applications. In addition to indoor cables for all types of defense vessels, we also supply transversally and longitudinally waterproof cables for outboard applications, including submarines.
Key characteristics of the Defence NavalLine® VG 95218 cables include:
• Seawater resistance
• Operating lifetime of 20,000 hours
• Transversal and/or longitudinal water blocking up to 63 bar
• Fire resistance
• Toxicity index lower than 5
• Non-corrosive behaviour and low smoke density in case of fire
• High oil resistance
