The inner part of the hybrid cable consists of one coax, multiple power and data wires. The advantage of camera signals over coax, compared to Ethernet, is that video signals can be transferred over longer distances. The combination with the double FRNC jacket and a galvanised steel wire braiding makes the cable suitable for the harshest circumstances. The outer sheath is tested referring to the NEK606 (mud resistance) for applications on oil & gas rigs. The camera systems are mainly used on cranes. With the help of these camera systems, the crane driver has a complete view of the loading area. With the increased sight, the crane driver can work more efficient and react proactive to unexpected situations.
